Led by Ping, who has called Little India home for over two decades, this tour goes beyond the surface. You’ll explore the enclave one backstreet at a time while uncovering how British colonisation shaped the area, how the streets of Little India got their names, and how wealth and trade influenced the architecture of its heritage shophouses. Along the way, you’ll also discover why Little India has always been a multicultural place.
We visit places of worship from different faiths, revealing how religion and daily life coexist side by side. Stories of migration and community will fill you with curiosity, wonder, and a deeper appreciation of this living cultural landscape.
The tour starts and ends at the same location, making it easy to return to recommended eateries and shops afterward.
