Sighisoara Citadel Walking Tour
Overview
I invite you to walk with me through the streets of the medieval fortress of Sighișoara, a former Saxon city of craftsmen and merchants, located in the heart of a land full of legends and steeped in traditions. Nearly eight centuries ago, Saxon and Hungarian settlements were established in Transylvania.
The tour will begin in front of the Gasthaus Altepost Hotel. From there, we will follow the road within the city walls, where we will see the most important landmarks: the iconic Clock Tower, the Monastery Church, the Citadel's main square, the Venetian House, and the House with a Stag. We will then walk up the covered stairs to the School and the Church on the Hill, where we’ll enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the city. From here, we’ll descend through the Evangelical Cemetery, finishing the route in front of the City Hall.

Please note that the route is up to the fortress hill, so it is advisable to wear comfortable shoes.
Also, please take into account the weather conditions, the tour takes place outside, and it is important to have an outfit appropriate for each weather forecast (umbrella, raincoat, shoes, and winter clothing, etc).
