Discover Santiago de Chile: The Highlights Free Walking Tour
Overview
We will meet at Plaza Benjamín Vicuña Mackenna; we will visit the foot of Santa Lucia Hill (Fuente Neptuno or Neptuno Fountain), but we will not climb the hill.
Then, we will walk through Santiago's main street, Alameda, visiting: The National Library, San Francisco Church, New York Street, Bandera Street, La Moneda Palace, Ahumada Pedestrian Walk, Plaza de Armas, National Museum of Fine Arts, and the Forestal Park.
The tour is focused on visiting spots that can make a great picture for your Instagram, so we will visit all of the buildings, but we will not enter them. Along the way, discover Chilean history, architecture, and hidden stories, with plenty of opportunities to capture unforgettable photos for Instagram.

On arrival
We will meet at Plaza Benjamín Vicuña Mackenna (Benjamín Vicuña Mackenna, Square). This square is located on the north side of the access to the Metro Station "Santa Lucía". Also, this square is located to the west of the foot of the Santa Lucía Hill (Fuente Neptuno or Neptuno Fountain). It is located to the east of the National Library. At the center of the plaza, there is a fountain with a statue of three men. I, the guide, will be carrying an orange flag.

Tour requires a lot of walking.
Kids are accepted as long as they walk a lot.
Tennis shoes, skate shoes, or running shoes recommended.
Hat (cap or otherwise) recommended.
In case of rain, the tour will be suspended.
If it's summer, shorts and a T-shirt are recommended.
If it's winter, autumn, or spring: pants or jeans with a hoodie and jacket.
