Overview
We will meet at the indicated time next to the equestrian statue of Pedro de Valdivia. In the Plaza de Armas of Santiago de Chile we will explain the historical context in which the supply areas were born in the 16th century.
Afterwards, we will head towards the north of the city along Puente Street, the old Inca Trail, until we reach the famous Central Market. You will contemplate its beautiful façade, learning much of its history and the importance of this market for the life of the local inhabitants.
We will cross the north bank of the Mapocho River, formerly known as "La Chimba", which is currently a huge market where we will find numerous fruit and vegetable stalls. It is also a perfect place to enjoy the hustle and bustle, the flavors, smells and the rhythm of the city are mixed to perfection, which will allow you to get to know the authentic Chilean rhythm of life.
After approximately two hours of sightseeing, we will end the tour at the entrance to the Patronato neighborhood, where the guide will give you the best tips to continue discovering the city on your own.
