Exploring the North: Santander, Santillana del Mar and Comillas
Overview
The gastronomy of Santillana del Mar is another attraction not to be missed. The cocido montañés, made with dairy products from the region and accompanied by the exquisite wines of the Liébana Designation of Origin, is an essential dish. In addition, the local markets offer a variety of cheeses, sausages and homemade sweets that will delight the most demanding palates.
On the same excursion, you can also discover Comillas, a coastal town famous for its modernist architecture and views of the Cantabrian Sea. The Pontifical University, designed by Antoni Gaudí, is an icon of modernism, along with the Casa de Sobrellano, not to be missed. Comillas is also known for its delicious gastronomy, with typical dishes such as fabes con almejas (beans with clams) and its famous cheeses.

- The visit is free, but we will provide information to visit places of tourist interest. In certain destinations, the assistants will make a tour of the most important places of the place and you can accompany them if you wish, they are not local tour guides.
- We recommend that you bring your own food to make the most of your time.
- To enjoy the Cantabrian Sea, we recommend our travel companions to bring their bathing suits, towels and everything they need for the trip.
- Respect the environment and collect the garbage generated before leaving each place.
- Punctuality. Boarding the bus is on a first-come, first-served basis, priority is given to families with children. We are not responsible if the bus departs without you or your group arriving late to the meeting points. If this happens, there is no right to claim or refund.
- A private WhatsApp group will be created for the trip, which will serve as communication. It will be created the day before departure. Verify that the WhatsApp number entered in the purchase is correct. If it is an international number, the country code must be added.
- It is not allowed to eat or drink inside the bus.
- Walking in the aisles of the bus is not allowed and seat belts are mandatory on all bus routes.
- Nothing of value may be left on the bus; we are not responsible for any lost items.
