On arrival
The meeting point is in front of the National Theater of Costa Rica, located in downtown San José, next to the Plaza de la Cultura.
The area can be easily reached by cab, Uber, bus or on foot from most downtown hotels and hostels.
Your guide will be waiting for you in front of the main entrance of the theater wearing a bright yellow t-shirt so you can easily identify the group. Please arrive 10 minutes before the tour begins.
Things to note
This walking tour is suitable for all ages and is done at a leisurely pace, with several stops along the way.
We recommend bringing comfortable shoes, water, sunscreen and a camera to capture the beautiful architecture and cultural sights of San Jose.
The tour is tip-based, so participants can contribute at the end according to their experience and budget.
