Overview of the tour in Rovaniemi

Enjoy the magical forests of the Lappish wilderness and the thrill of mushing a Husky team with your family!

You will meet our Husky teams, learn the knowledge and skills of the driving sled, and have fun in the snowy world! Afterward, there will be time to mingle with the huskies, warm up yourself by enjoying hot juice and snacks around the fire.

The overall time of this self-driven husky safari tour is approximately 3,5 hours, including a 45-minute safari (travel distance is around 6-10 km).

On arrival

Please provide your accommodation info for pick-up service.

Traveler pickup is offered Hotel transfer is offered from/to Rovaniemi ( Arctic Snow hotel extra cost/person/direction). Please be at the hotel lobby or downstairs outside the rental apartment 5 minutes before the meeting time, thank you. If you have difficulty finding our guide, please call us.

Things to note

1. Confirmation will be received at the time of booking.
2. Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately.
3. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
4. Minimum passenger requirement applies. There is a possibility of cancellation or rescheduling if there are not enough passengers to meet the requirements. In the event of cancellation due to passenger requirements, you will be refunded fully.
5. Duration includes the transfer and clothes changing time.
6. Meeting time of our safari is always before the starting time of the safari if you need pick-up services. You will receive your meeting time and meeting point upon confirmation or by e-mail. Failure to participate in the safari due to missed meeting time or meeting point will not be refunded.
7. Sled Capacity: 2-4 persons per husky sleigh (except special circumstances). We use large toboggan sleds and each sled can have 2 adults and 2 children in it. Larger children, senior travelers, and or disabled travelers can travel in the sled with a guide. Single travelers and odd-numbered groups of adults will have to share a sled. Solo driving is possible by paying the Solo Driving Price.

8. Printed booking confirmation and e-tickets both are accepted.
9. We recommend you wear comfortable clothes and shoes.
10. In wintertime, warm winter clothes with a scarf and hat are recommended as the temperature can be as low as -35 Celsius degrees.
11. It is recommended that you have travel insurance because in the very unlikely event of an accident the health care costs may be high.
