Rovaniemi Reindeer Farm Visit with Sleigh short-Ride Safari

Overview of the tour in Rovaniemi

During this tour, you will learn about knowledge and stories of reindeers from the herders. They will show you around the traditional farm and you will have a chance to feed them with lichen - their favorite food!

If the weather is suitable and there is enough snow on the ground, you will take an adventure of a reindeer safari!

After this short sleigh ride of a 400-meter safari, you will have some time around the fire in the company of a herder. The herder will satisfy your curiosity about reindeers by answering all your questions and sharing their passion with you.

The duration of the complete experience (Visit of the farm + Sleigh ride safari) with transportation is approximately 2 hours.

1. Hotel pickups commence prior to the start time. Your pick-up time will be confirmed by email at least one day prior to departure.

3. Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately. However, the tour may be adapted, or canceled in case of unsafe weather conditions.
4. Children must be accompanied by an adult
5. Minimum passenger requirement applies. There is a possibility of cancellation or rescheduling if there are not enough passengers to meet the requirements. In the event of cancellation due to passenger requirements, you will be refunded fully.
6. Please make sure your phone is ON during the tour day.
7. Printed booking confirmation and e-tickets both are accepted.
8. We recommend you wear comfortable clothes and shoes.
9. In the summer, the weather may change rapidly. It is good to bring a light coat or a cardigan and an umbrella just in case.
10. In wintertime, warm winter clothes with a scarf and hat are recommended as the temperature can be as low as -35 Celsius degrees.
It is recommended that you have travel insurance because in the very unlikely event of an accident the health care costs may be high.
