Overview of the tour in Rovaniemi

Ice-fishing is simply something you can’t miss if you plan to enrich yourself with Finnish culture. Get accompanied by a professional guide, who will teach you the basics with all the required tools.

It is not guaranteed to you will be able to catch something. But it is part of the process, as it requires a bit of luck. Take a lunch of grill sausages and prepare some hot juice to get cozy after an exhaustive day. You may even grill your own fish if you are lucky enough to catch it.

On arrival

Traveler pickup is offered. Please provide your hotel information for pick-up service when booking.
Hotel transfer is offered from/to Rovaniemi ( Arctic Snow hotel extra 10€ / person/direction). Please be at the hotel lobby or downstairs outside the rental apartment 5 minutes before the meeting time, thank you. If you have difficulty finding our guide, please call us.

Things to note

1. Confirmation will be received at the time of booking.
2. Please notice that the pick-up times for excursions vary depending on your accommodation.
3. Please be ready and wait in your hotel lobby 10 minutes prior to your scheduled pickup time
4. Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately. However, the tour may be adapted, or cancelled in case of unsafe weather conditions.
5. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
6. Minimum passenger requirement applies. There is a possibility of cancellation or rescheduling if there are not enough passengers to meet the requirements. In the event of cancellation due to passenger requirements, you will be refunded fully.
7. Please make sure your phone is ON during the tour day.
8. Printed booking confirmation and e-tickets both are accepted.
9. We recommend you wear comfortable clothes and shoes.
10. In wintertime, warm winter clothes with scarf and hat is recommended as the temperature can be as low as -35 Celsius degrees.
11. It is recommended that you have travel insurance because in the very unlikely event of an accident the health care costs may be high.
