Discover the historic heart of Rome on a leisurely stroll from the Pantheon to Castel Sant’Angelo.
We’ll start right at the Pantheon, one of the most fascinating structures of antiquity. From there, we’ll continue on to Piazza Navona, through Via dei Coronari, and finally to Castel Sant’Angelo.
One moment we’re in ancient Rome, the next in the Baroque era—and, of course, always right here and now. That’s exactly what makes the city center so exciting: over 2,700 years of city history are often just a few steps apart.
I’m Luca, a German master’s student in Rome with a keen interest in history and a real passion for giving tours and sharing my enthusiasm for Rome with others.
The entire tour is conducted in German.
The tour is ideal for anyone who wants to experience a varied cross-section of Rome’s historic city center in about two hours, and it’s especially well-suited for first-time visitors to Rome. Important: We don’t go inside the monuments :)!
