Overview
Discover Rome like never before through powerful personal stories and unforgettable history. This walking tour blends ancient landmarks with the moving true stories of my family, Holocaust survivors who lived through WWII in Rome.
We’ll explore Ancient Rome, the Jewish Ghetto, and Baroque treasures while uncovering the lesser-known history of persecution, resistance, and survival. From Roman aqueducts to human rights, this experience connects 2,000 years of history in one immersive journey.
Along the way, I’ll share local food tips (including where to get amazing pasta!) and insights you won’t find in guidebooks.
Perfect for history lovers, curious travelers, and anyone looking for meaning beyond the monuments.

On arrival
I will wait for you in front of Meo Patacca Restaurant in Piazza dei Mercanti. I am looking forward to exploring Rome with you!
Things to note
Rome is extremely hot between June and September, I highly recommend bringing water (or an empty bottle where you can refill in one of the fontanella on the way), and a hat to cover you from the sun.
In case of rain, I will send you a message before our tour to give you a heads up to bring an umbrella or a raincoat.
