Free Tour of Rome by Night
Overview of the tour in Rome
We will begin our tour discovering the Spanish Steps, and we will continue until we reach the Trevi Fountain, perhaps one of the most spectacular fountains in the world.
We will continue our tour and cross Via Corso to reach Piazza Colonna, admire the Column of Marco Aurelio, and then stand in front of the Italian Parliament. Opposite this old palace is an Egyptian obelisk.
Our next stop will be the famous Piazza Navona, which has amazing marble fountains by Bernini and his school, as examples of Roman Baroque, with the Church of Santa Agnese in Agone. At the time of the Roman Empire, this square was the Circus-Stadium of Domitian, where chariot races were held.
We will continue our visit along the Via dei Coronari until we reach the Tiber River and cross its Sant'Angelo Bridge with its beautiful sculptures of angels to contemplate the Sant'Angelo Castle.
We will continue along the path of Conciliation and stop to observe the Basilica of Saint Peter, perhaps one of the most famous monuments in the Christian and religious world. We end our visit in Saint Peter's Square, designed by Bernini.
