You can give yourself a chance to peek behind that was once the Iron Curtain. During this tour, you will visit some must-see places in Riga that are legacies of the city’s Soviet past. Together with a lovely local guide you will explore the famous KGB building where you will understand why the place still would give chills to many Latvian people. You will hear some extremely moving - and horrifying - stories related to the Soviet occupation. You will see some typical Soviet time buildings and monuments, and learn about the life back in the occupation times. You will also be able to see some great panoramic views of Riga and try some food in a typical soviet-style buffet.

This activity includes:

Monument of Freedom - Tornakalns Station - Academy of Sciences - KGB building - Victory Monument
