Overview of the tour in Riga

During a walking tour of our old town, we learn a brief history of Riga and German, Polish, Swedish, Russian, Independent and Soviet times. The end of the tour will be the Freedom Monument.

The Cattedrale, the Church of San Pietro, the Powder Tower, fragments of the defense walls, the Three Brothers, the Stock Exchange, the Church of San Giacomo, and the Swedish Gate are all important points along the narrow streets and paved squares.

Legends will tell how Riga was founded, what ancient river Riga had, where there may be treasures of Templars, and who is forgiven by Riga ghost.

On arrival

Meet us at the Town Hall Square (Ratslaukums) in the center near the statue of Roland with the Italian flag or we can start the tour from your hotel.

Things to note

-Entrance fees to the Church of the Duomo and the Church of San Pietro are not included.
-You can visit them if you want after the tour. From October, it is recommended to bring a scarf and warm gloves.
