Overview of the tour in Quilotoa Loop

Our journey commences by picking up participants from their locations, with the option of a meeting point for those farther from the city. The 3.5-hour trip from Quito to the Quilotoa community allows for a breakfast stop, ensuring everyone is fueled for the day. En route, we'll pass through towns, reaching the indigenous village of Zumbahua, where a traditional market unfolds on Saturdays.

Upon reaching the lagoon, preparations for our hike begin. Three options await, each offering a different perspective on the stunning landscape:

1. A 4 to 5-hour hike around the crater of the volcano.
2. A 2.5 to 3.5-hour hike along the regular path, with visits to tourist spots like boats and kayaks.
3. A 2 to 3-hour hike along a less-traveled path, circling a portion of the lagoon before rejoining the regular route.

After the hike, we'll find a suitable spot for lunch before our return journey to Quito resumes.
