Overview

I’m David, a 22-year-old history enthusiast who loves bringing the past to life through stories, legends, and fascinating details you won’t find in any guidebook.

We’ll start in the Jewish Quarter, where myths and history intertwine. Meet the legendary Golem, explore centuries of Jewish culture, and uncover how a bold 19th-century redesign transformed this ancient district, the same one the Nazis later preserved as a so-called “Jewish museum.”

Next, we’ll cross the iconic Charles Bridge, a 14th-century masterpiece alive with art, music, and the echoes of the old Judith Bridge hidden beneath its stones.

Our journey ends at the majestic Prague Castle, a 9th-century fortress that has seen defenestrations, coronations, and the birth of the Thirty Years’ War. Inside, the soaring St. Vitus Cathedral and royal tombs reveal why Prague remains Europe’s timeless jewel.

Come feel the stories, not just hear them, and leave with tales you’ll want to tell again and again.

Meeting point

Rudolfinum Concert Hall stairs

On arrival

I will be waiting on the stairs of the Rudolfinum concert hall entrance, with a black umbrella (open if it rains). My name is David, and I am a tall young man.

Things to note

Clothing: Prague's weather can be unpredictable. In autumn and winter, it gets very cold, so bring warm layers, a good coat, gloves, and a hat. I

Footwear: Wear comfortable walking shoes. Streets are full of cobblestones, and the climb from Charles Bridge up to Prague Castle is steep and can be tiring.

Weather Check: Always check the forecast before the tour. Rain is common, so if necessary, bring an umbrella or a raincoat to stay dry.

Castle Climb: The way up to Prague Castle can be challenging, but it is worth it for the views. We will take it slow, enjoy the scenery, and don’t be afraid to pause for photos (and for catching your breath).

General Tip: Stay hydrated, keep your camera ready, and be prepared for both history and legends. Prague has a surprise at every corner.
