Join us on a walking tour through the old town where you will discover the most authentic taverns, get in touch with the saleswomen of our traditional fresh goods market, and feel like a local.

In this tour, our guide will take you from place to place in order to show you the most traditional local delicacies as well as explain the historical background of our gastronomy and wine culture. You will explore our local market while it’s still possible and go to exclusive places that you probably wouldn’t find by yourself.

YOU WILL TASTE:

** Special blend coffee and a Custard Tart;
** Cod Cake and a glass of Vinho Verde;
** Smoked meat, cheeses, bread, olives and a glass of Douro Red Wine;
** Bifana (traditional Portuguese pork spicy sandwich) and a beer;
** 3 different types of Port.

• All customers with a reservation must BE READY 15min prior to the tour start. If the group is more than 15 minutes late, their reservation will be automatically canceled without any rescheduling or refund.

• The places visited for the tastings may vary according to the group size on the day of the tour.
• This is a child-friendly tour. Child ages 1-3 years are permitted to join this tour free of charge. Children from 4-14 years are permitted on this tour at the half price. Please inform via freetour account.
• Dietary Requirements & Allergies: this tour is vegetarian friendly, but please note substitutions are not available for every dish. You must notify us of any dietary requirements prior to your tour date, same-day requests cannot be guaranteed.
• This tour operates in the rain so please check the weather conditions and dress accordantly. The company provides ponchos.
