Overview

Discover Philadelphia, the birthplace of the United States, on a tour of its historic center that will take you to the key stages of independence. We start at Dilworth Park, in front of the imposing City Hall, to understand the origin of the city and its role in the history of the country. We continue to the Masonic Temple, where we explore the influence of Freemasonry, and the lively Reading Terminal Market, a reflection of the local cultural diversity.

We then enter Independence National Historical Park, home to Independence Hall, the site of the signing of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, and other spaces central to the birth of the nation. We stroll along Arch Street until we reach Elfreth's Alley, the oldest residential street in the U.S., and end by the Delaware River, key in the development of the city. An essential tour to understand the history, culture and evolution of Philadelphia.
