Our tour begins in Times Square, a world steeped in theatrical superstition and spectral activity. Later, the historic New Amsterdam Theatre. Here, you'll meet Olive Thomas, Broadway's most famous ghost. A Ziegfeld Follies starlet who died tragically in 1920, Olive's playful spirit is said to have returned to her beloved theater. Stagehands and performers have reported flickering lights and seeing her apparition, a beautiful woman in a beaded dress, in the wings.
We'll share her heartbreaking story and explain why her mischievous presence is considered a good omen. "Broadway Ghouls and Ghosts" is more than just spooky stories.
