Join me for a walk on the wild side! Of all of NYC's neighborhood transformations, none has been more radical, unexpected and hilarious (to those of us who lived the old NYC) than that of the Meatpacking District! Don't let the designer shops and high end restaurants fool you - only 25 years ago this area was teeming with illegal all night parties, gritty street characters, and literal blood (ok, cows and pigs, not people, but still...) in the streets! We’ll explore this district, walk the beautiful High Line Park, and tell stories of the ghosts of the Chelsea Hotel!

I will meet you by the fountain in Jackson Square Park. Rarely, this park will be unexpectedly closed. If that happens, we meet in front of the Greenwich Ave entrance, near the CitiBike Kiosk. Look for the lady with long platinum hair and the red flag!
