- New Orleans History
On arrival
I will be standing on the corner of Washington Ave and Prytania St in front of 2801 Prytania, 10 minutes before the start of the tour. I will be wearing a dark gray backpack, and I'll be wearing a cap and sunglasses. I will have my phone with me at all times. Please feel free to text me if you are running late or need help finding me. The tour typically starts on time, but if you are a few minutes late, the group remains near the starting corner for at least the first 10 minutes.
Things to note
If you need anything before the tour begins, I recommend Chicory House Coffee at 2727 Prytania St or Le Petit Bleu at 1427 Washington Ave. They have coffee, pastries, a restroom, and water. I also recommend always being prepared for rain. In New Orleans, rain showers can form very quickly and without much notice.
