Overview

It is a bilingual tour, in Spanish and/or Portuguese. Nara was the first capital of Japan, before Kyoto, and the end point of the Silk Road. An experienced guide will take you through trails unknown to ordinary tourists. The city preserves numerous Buddhist temples and Shinto shrines. You will learn about the differences and similarities between the two religions, comparing them with Christianity from an academic perspective. I am sure this tour will enrich your knowledge and curiosity!

Tamukeyama Hachiman-gū Shrine
Nigatsudō Temple
Tōdai-ji (Great Buddha) Temple

At the end of the tour, each participant will receive a special souvenir: a Goshuin, the sacred seal, with your name written with a brush in kanji - the Chinese characters adopted by Japanese.

The meeting point will be at the "JR Line Tickets" glass booth, on the right as you exit the turnstiles. We will be taking the 8:33 bus, so please arrive at 8:20 at the earliest. You can use the Suica card, which costs 250 yen per person.
