Spanish Quarters, Street Art, and Traditions

Hi! We’re the team at Around With a Local—true Neapolitans through and through. Together with our tour leaders, we’ll take you through the narrow streets where we grew up—the Quartieri Spagnoli—amid the authentic hustle and bustle of the locals.

Our goal isn’t just to tell you the story, but to use it as a key to understanding the character of the Neapolitans and the socioeconomic evolution of this unique neighborhood: a journey through the past, modernity, social redemption, and deep-rooted traditions.

In about 2 hours, we’ll explore the soul of the alleys through emerging street art:

- Via Toledo

- The military district of Montecalvario

- The famous square and mural dedicated to Maradona

- The elegant neighborhood of San Ferdinando

- Works by street artists such as Cyop & Kaf, Bosoletti, Mandragora, and Trallallà

An experience rich in anecdotes and stories from those who live these places every day. Plus, we’ll give you all the practical tips you need to get around safely, make the most of your time and budget, and avoid the pitfalls of mass tourism—revealing the best spots to eat and experience the city like a true local!
