Overview
As a local, I will tell you about the authentic traditions I inherited from my grandparents, the mysteries hidden behind every corner and answer any curiosity you may have about the lifestyle of our city. You will not see Naples as a simple tourist; you will live it as a Neapolitan.
We will start in the noble hall of Naples, the majestic Piazza del Plebiscito. Here we will discover the history of the Kings and Viceroys who marked the destiny of the city, and we will play the famous "game of the blindfolded statues". Walking among the clothes lying in the sun, the bassi (the typical houses at street level) and the votive altars, you will feel the real engine of Naples.
We will climb up to the hill of Pizzofalcone, the oldest nucleus of the city, where the Greeks founded Parthenope. From this historic vantage point, you will enjoy one of the most spectacular and uncrowded views of the gulf. Here, suspended between the sky and the sea, I will tell you about the legends of the mermaids, the cult of San Gennaro and the esoteric traditions that make Naples so mystical.
