Overview

The tour begins in Piazza del Plebiscito, located in the heart of the city, with an area of approximately 25,000 square meters. The square is surrounded by some of the most important historical buildings in Naples: the Royal Palace, the Basilica of San Francesco di Paola (one of the largest Italian churches from the Neoclassical period), and the Teatro di San Carlo, inaugurated on November 4, 1737, making it the oldest active opera house in the world. We will also see the Galleria Umberto I.

We then continue to Piazza del Municipio, one of the city's most important squares due to its proximity to key artistic landmarks such as Maschio Angioino, Via Toledo, and the port. After that, we cross the lower decumanus, popularly known as Spaccanapoli, one of the city's most significant streets.
