Our unique experience begins with the wonderful Vanvitelli Square in the modern district of Vomero. We'll walk a few minutes until you’ll enjoy breathtaking views at the foot of Castel Sant’Elmo and the Charterhouse of San Martino.
Here, we’ll spend unforgettable moments while I share with you the story of an ancient revolution, introduce inspiring characters, and explore iconic places that still shape Naples and its people today.
You’ll also discover the deep connection between Naples and Mount Vesuvius — a fundamental key to understanding our history, society, and daily life.
From there, I will guide you down the historic Pedamentina stairs, dating back to the 14th century. Along the way, stunning panoramic views will leave you speechless, and my stories will help you truly appreciate the beauty of the city below.
At the end of the stairs, we’ll dive into the heart of Naples along its oldest, most vibrant, and iconic street: Spaccanapoli. We’ll walk through magical facades, encounter curious characters, uncover legends, and much more!

On arrival
Super easy.
You can reach Vanvitelli Square by metro or by funicular.
If you take Metro L1 it's super easy, you take metro in direction PISCINOLA and your stop is Vanvitelli, I will be waiting for you outside the station near the Bank Credit Agricole.
In case you take the funicular from Augusteo, your stop is the last one PIAZZA FUGA and VANVITELLI SQUARE is at 3 minutes by foot.
Things to note
- Wear very comfortable shoes.
- In case of rain, we'll start the tour anyway.
- External view of the monuments only. For timing reasons the tour cannot include the internal visits.
