Overview

Want to know where it all began? Join me on this journey back in time to discover the roots of the oldest city in the West. It's not just a tour, it's the story of a legend that lives on in every stone.

The stages of our journey:

Parthenope and the magic egg: We will start where the mermaid decided to stay forever. I will tell you the myth of the foundation of Castel dell'Ovo and the mystery that Virgil hid in its walls.

The city on the hill: We will climb Monte Echia, the settlement of the first Greek colonists almost 3,000 years ago. From here, the view of the gulf will explain why they chose this exact place to be born.

Neapolis, the new city: We will walk down to the heart of Greek urban design. We will walk on the Decumani, the streets that have seen Romans, Normans and kings, but still retain the soul of ancient Greece.
