Overview
Discover Naples with a unique tour of its beating heart! We will begin at Piazza Borsa, the symbol of the 19th-century city, and delve into a labyrinth of fascinating stories and curiosities. I will unravel the mystery of the church that supposedly holds Count Dracula's tomb and we will walk past the house where the unforgettable Pino Daniele lived as a boy.
We will stroll along Spaccanapoli, the ancient soul of the city, visiting the Complex of Santa Chiara with the tombs of the Bourbon kings and the Church of Gesù Nuovo, an enigmatic Baroque masterpiece. We will cross Piazza Bellini and continue among the treasures of the center: the Church and Convent of San Domenico (home of St. Thomas Aquinas), a short walk from the Sansevero Chapel (Veiled Christ). We will admire the art of nativity scenes in San Gregorio Armeno, the "Naples Underground" in San Lorenzo and the striking statue of the body of Naples in Sant'Angelo a Nilo.
We will end on a high note after about two hours, enjoying an authentic coffee and sfogliatella in a historic pastry shop. I will leave you with my best tips on the most authentic establishments to continue living the city like a true Neapolitan!
