Overview
We’ll start at Plaza del Cardenal Belluga, right across from the tourist office. We’ll see City Hall and cross the Puente de los Peligros, guarded by the Virgin of Los Peligros, who possesses strange mechanisms capable of warning of impending misfortunes.
After that, we’ll take a look at the Muralla de las Verónicas, the city’s Muslim walls, but not before stopping by the Mercado de Verónicas, and then continue on to the famous Plaza de las Flores, where you can’t leave without trying some delicious marineras and a tasty meat pastry. Our tour will continue to Plaza del Cardenal Belluga, where we’ll enter the Episcopal Palace, which boasts one of the most beautiful domes in Murcia.
Next, I’ll tell you about the Cathedral and its immense doors, which are sure to impress any visitor. You’ll gain an understanding of its architecture and all the twists and turns of its history that have made it a truly unique cathedral in Spain.
To wrap up, we’ll walk down Trapería Street and end at the iconic Romea Theater.
