On arrival
Tours typically start from a central location in Moshi or Arusha, Mama Africa Giftshop (Moshi), from your hotel/lodge, or a designated point in Arusha/Moshi.
Pick-up times are usually around 07:30 from Moshi/Arusha; arrival at the springs is 09:00.
Things to note
- Swimwear Required: Bring a swimsuit, towel, and flip-flops or water shoes.
- Sun Protection: Carry sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat—shade is limited.
- Road Conditions: The Last part of the journey is a bumpy, dusty road; wear comfortable clothing.
- Changing Rooms: Available but basic, prepare accordingly.
- Cash: Bring local currency for snacks, drinks, or tips (no card payments on-site).
- Photography: Great photo spots, carry a waterproof phone case or camera.
- No Wi-Fi: Signal may be weak, disconnect, and enjoy nature.
- Wildlife: Expect friendly fish in the water that nibble feet (natural spa experience).
- Not Wheelchair Accessible: The terrain may not suit all mobility levels.
- Children-Friendly: Safe and fun for kids, but supervision is a must.
