Overview
We will start by visiting the museum Casa de la Memoria which is a brutalist building surrounded by a park that houses the memory of the colombian conflict and is the place that works to restore the rights of the victims of all kinds of violence in colombian history, close to this place we will go through Parque de Boston which is a tradicional park with its small church and the local life always happening under the shadow of the trees.
Then we will walk four blocks up north to also go through Parque Obrero where we can talk about how the workers and industries helped develop different parts of the city and the importance of public spaces in the construction of strong communities.
Later we will arrive to Parque Biblioteca Leon de Greiff and Parque la Imaginación which are two different places, where the modern architecture has turned neighborhoods that used to be on the margin of the city and without any public good infrastructure into places where people can spend quality time in a modern public space.
