Overview
The meeting will take place at a café located in Jemaa el-Fna Square, near the Koutoubia Mosque. We’ll begin the tour with a detailed historical overview of the Koutoubia Mosque and its important role in the history of Marrakech.
We will then head toward the Ben Youssef Madrasa, passing through the traditional artisans’ neighborhoods, where you’ll have the chance to observe the hriafiyin (artisans) at work and discover traditional Moroccan crafts.
Before the tour ends, we’ll stop at a Moroccan women’s cooperative that specializes in producing argan oil and other natural products derived from Moroccan plants.
