On arrival
The Ouzoud Waterfalls are located approximately 150 km (about 2.5 hours' drive) northeast of Marrakech, in the Middle Atlas region of Morocco. The journey takes you through scenic landscapes, including small villages, olive groves, and mountain roads.

Pick-up Service: We offer a convenient hotel pick-up service from any location in Marrakech. Please make sure to provide us with your accommodation details when booking.
Pick-up Time: The tour departs at 8:00 AM from your hotel or designated meeting point. Our guide and driver will be waiting for you at the entrance, and you will be directed to the vehicle.
Return: You will be dropped back at your hotel in Marrakech around 6:30 PM.
Things to note
Weather Conditions:
The weather in the Ouzoud area can be unpredictable. Please check the weather forecast before your trip and dress accordingly. It can be cooler in the morning and evening, so bring a light jacket or sweater.
During the summer months, temperatures can be high, so be sure to wear comfortable clothes, sunscreen, and a hat.
Footwear:
We recommend wearing comfortable shoes suitable for walking, as the terrain around the waterfalls can be uneven and slippery, especially if you decide to explore the area on foot. Sturdy sneakers or hiking shoes are ideal.
Swimming:
You can take a swim in the pool at the base of the waterfalls. Be aware that the water can be quite cold, especially during the winter months. Always swim with caution.
Camera:
Don’t forget your camera or smartphone to capture the stunning views of the falls. There are several viewpoints along the trail where you can take amazing photos.
Local Guides:
If you want to enhance your experience, local guides are available at the entrance to the falls. They can show you the best routes, tell you about the history of the area, and help you spot wildlife like the Barbary apes that live near the falls.
Cash:
While there are some places that accept card payments in the area, we recommend bringing enough cash (MAD) for any local purchases, tips, or optional services (e.g., boat rides, camel rides, or guide fees).
Lunch:
There are several restaurants and cafés near the falls offering traditional Moroccan food, such as tagine and couscous. You can enjoy a delicious lunch while taking in the beautiful surroundings. If you have dietary restrictions, feel free to inform us in advance, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
Safety and Security:
Always stay on marked paths and follow your guide’s instructions. The rocks and cliffs near the falls can be slippery, and there are some steep areas.
It is advised not to venture too close to the edge of the falls.
Respect for Nature:
Please be respectful of the environment and the local community. Help us keep the area clean by disposing of trash properly and avoiding loud noise.
Pick-up and Drop-off:
For those traveling with us, ensure that you’re at the designated pick-up point on time. Our driver and guide will be waiting for you at the agreed-upon location in Marrakech.
After the tour, you will be dropped back at your hotel by around 6:30 PM.

Free Cancellation up to 24 hours before the activity starts. Late cancellation or your non-arrival is not refundable.
