The best way to explore the Medina of Marrakech with hassle-free. Covering the most interesting monuments and different neighborhoods.
We mainly start our tours from the known main square of Djemaa El Fna, making it to 'AL Koutoubia' Minaret which is the oldest mosque in town & been build in XII century. Stop in there for demonstration and history about the city first-time construction.
We continue walking toward the XVI century section " Al Kasbah" passing by Royale palace & the famous gate of Bab Agnaou. We will visit later the Jews quarter 'Mellah' and visit stop at 'Al Bahia' Palace. Where you will discover a diverse Moroccan architecture, Riads, and Gardens.
Nice walk as going back on time from XVI to XIV than to XII and XI Century, through the Market & Labyrinth. We will walk through fresh produces markets, tiny small restaurants, craftsmen section: leather Slipper & belts makers, herbalist, Blacksmiths...
We will make our way back to the Main square (Starting point) via the Quarter of Mouassine XVI century and get a chance to see one of its Foundouks ( Commercial caravans Motels).
