Marrakech Medina Food Tour with Local Tastings
Overview
We will walk through lively streets near Jemaa el-Fna and the old Medina, stopping at selected food spots to try Moroccan specialties. Tastings may include Moroccan bread, olives, dates, pastries, traditional snacks, mint tea, fresh juice, and other local dishes, depending on the season and availability.
During the tour, your guide will explain Moroccan cuisine, spices, street food traditions, local eating habits, and useful tips about where locals eat in Marrakech.
This is more than a food tasting. It is also a relaxed cultural walk through the Medina, with stories about Moroccan hospitality, markets, and daily life.

On arrival
Please meet your guide near Koutoubia Mosque, at the white dome/kiosk opposite the mosque entrance. Your guide will be waiting there and may contact you by WhatsApp before the tour if needed. If you come by taxi, ask for “Koutoubia Mosque, near Jemaa el-Fna.” Please arrive 5–10 minutes before the starting time.
Things to note
Please provide your WhatsApp number after booking so we can confirm the exact meeting point. Food tastings are included, but the selection may change depending on season, opening times, and availability. Please inform us in advance about any food allergies, vegetarian preferences, or dietary restrictions. Wear comfortable shoes, as this is a walking tour in the Medina. Hotel pickup and drop-off are not included.
