First Day in Marrakech: The Ultimate Introduction Walking Tour

Starting near the Koutoubia Mosque, we'll walk to the Royal Palace (outside), admire the historic Bab Agnaou gate, and discover the old Jewish Quarter (Mellah), passing the historic synagogue from the outside. We'll continue past Bahia Palace (outside), stroll through the lively Riad Zitoun district, explore the local street food area of El Kannaria, visit the traditional olive and olive oil market, and finish in the vibrant Jemaa el-Fna Square.

On arrival
Meet your licensed local guide at the white dome, directly opposite the Koutoubia Mosque (next to the horse carriages). Please arrive 10 minutes before the starting time. Your guide will be waiting with a Morocco Tours VIP sign. If you have any difficulty finding the meeting point, please contact us via WhatsApp.

• This is a tip-based walking tour lasting approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes.
• Please arrive 10 minutes before the scheduled start time.
• Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring water, especially during warmer months.
• We visit the Royal Palace, Bahia Palace and the historic Synagogue from the outside only. Entrance tickets are not included.
