Overview
Day 1
You will be picked up from the meeting point in Marrakech and take a 1h30 drive to Imlil Valley (1740m), the starting point of your trek to Mount Toubkal. Upon arrival, you will be met by our local team, including an English-speaking guide and mule drivers who will assist you on the trek. Enjoy a welcome mint tea at a guesthouse before starting your hike. Your guide will show you the route on the map, and then you will set off trekking toward the base camp. After around 2 hours of walking, you will stop for a delicious lunch at Chamharouch Shrine. Later, you will continue uphill to the refuge. Today’s walk will take approximately 5 to 6 hours. Overnight at the refuge.
Day 2
Rise early for the climb to the summit. Once at the top, enjoy amazing views over the High Atlas Mountains; it’s truly worthwhile. After a short break, descend via the same route to the basecamp, where you will have lunch and relax. Today’s walk is expected to take around 6 to 7 hours. Overnight at the refuge.
Day 3
After breakfast, trek back down via the same route to Imlil. Enjoy lunch at a guesthouse before your transfer back to Marrakech.
