Overview
Travel in an open-top 4WD vehicle to the Southwest, starting at Campanário, taking the old roads, overlooking the terraces and cliffs. Continue to Ponta do Sol and then up to Paúl da Serra at 1500 meters to see rocks formed by volcanoes and flattened by erosion, marked by centuries of narrow footpaths, used for 4 centuries by the locals carrying and leading their animals and their products from one side of the Island to the other. At Prazeres and Fajã da Ovelha to see incredibly deep and majestic beauty. Discover valleys covered by a layer of a dense green mantle that lead to the warmth of the south-west part of the Islan Traveling up and down, it will be a thrilling adventure of a multitude of colors, scents, scenery and stories from mixed cultures, shared by locals that you will meet along the track.
