Funicular Ride & Swiss Mountain Views: Free Tour
Overview
You will see authentic Swiss farm shops that work on a trust system. While the cows often move to higher mountains in the summer the peaceful farm atmosphere is always there.
During our break, you can enjoy an optional Swiss tasting box for 5 CHF (about 6 EUR). Includes Swiss cheese, local sausage, crackers, sun-dried apple rings, and apple juice. It is a perfect way to taste the real Switzerland at a scenic viewpoint. Let me know if you want a snack box when you book.
We meet and finish together at the main train station. The funicular costs 12 CHF (about 13 EUR) and the bus is free with your Lucerne Pass. Please bring cash for the funicular ticket and optional tasting. If you only have euros, cash payment in euros is also possible through the guide.

On arrival
I will be waiting for you right in front of the Main Post Office at the Lucerne train station, near the yellow post office boxes. Please arrive 5 minutes early so we don't miss our bus.

Don't forget to carry your Lucerne Guest Pass (from your hotel)
We walk for about 20-30 minutes on easy paths, so comfortable shoes are recommended. We also do the tour during the light rain; please bring your own umbrella or raincoat.
