Overview of the tour in Leeuwarden
Join us on the Leeuwarden Free Tour if you want to see Leeuwarden through the eyes of a local. Expect a passionate guide, funny historical stories, beautiful street-art, and cute little shops and art galleries. It’s the best introduction to the city! The tours take about one and a half hours. They are for free, but if you liked the tour, you can give us a donation according to your own budget!

On arrival
The English walking tour starts EVERY Saturday at 12:00 (noon) at the Oldehoofsterkerkhof, the square in front of the Oldehove (the leaning tower). Our guides will be waiting for you on the opposite side of the tower, next to the entrance of Obe (the Leeuwarden tourist info). This is close to the tiled artwork of Maria Louise. Next to the visitor center, there is a Sign with Leeuwarden Free Tours written on it.
Things to note
Saturday at 12 PM (noon) we always have two guides, to do a Dutch and an English Tour.
