Day 1: Begin your adventure with a hike to Mandara Hut. After breakfast, drive to Kilimanjaro National Park Gate, where your climb starts. Traverse the rainforest to Mandara encampment, and consider a side trip to Maundi Crater for stunning views of Northern Tanzania and Kenya. Look out for Eucalyptus trees, birds, and Colobus monkeys.

Day 2: Hike towards Horombo, then descend to the park gate and return to Moshi. Leave the rainforest behind, ascending through the open moorlands to Horombo encampment. Marvel at the views of Mawenzi and Kibo. Keep an eye out for giant lobelias and grounsels. After lunch at Mandara, hike back to the park gate and return to Moshi.
