Day 1: Arusha to Serengeti National Park
Your journey begins as you depart from Arusha, Tanzania, and head towards the Serengeti National Park. As the sun sets, settle into your comfortable campsite and listen to the sounds of the African night.

Day 2: Serengeti National Park
Wake up to the calls of the wild and fuel up with a hearty breakfast before setting out for another exhilarating game drive in the Serengeti. After a day filled with unforgettable wildlife sightings, return to camp for a delicious dinner around the campfire.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater Today, bid farewell to the Serengeti as you make your way to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater. Descend into the crater for a game drive unlike any other as you explore this natural wonder teeming with wildlife.

Day 4: Departure
As your adventure draws to a close, enjoy a leisurely breakfast overlooking the Ngorongoro Crater before beginning your journey back to Arusha. Reflect on the incredible experiences and memories you've made during your safari as you traverse the stunning Tanzanian countryside.

On arrival

Upon arrival, customers will find our meeting point, Safari Junction Lodge, easily accessible from major accommodations in the region. From Arusha, it's approximately a 3-hour drive via the B144 and A104 roads. From Karatu, it's about a 30-minute drive via the B144 road. Our staff will be waiting at the lodge to greet and assist customers, ensuring a smooth start to their Ngorongoro day trip adventure.

Things to note

Weather Conditions: The weather in the Ngorongoro Crater can vary throughout the day, so we recommend dressing in layers and bringing a waterproof jacket.

Altitude: The crater floor sits at an elevation of around 2,000 meters (6,000 feet), so guests should be prepared for the possibility of altitude-related effects.

Health and Safety: It's essential to stay hydrated, wear sunscreen, and follow safety guidelines provided by our guides during the safari.

Camera Equipment: Don't forget your camera or smartphone to capture the incredible wildlife and landscapes. Binoculars can also enhance your viewing experience.
