Overview of the tour in Johannesburg

On this tour we will be hopping on Joburg’s most prestigious Art galleries, paying attention to the Art world.


We focus on introducing you to new exhibitions and having discussions about the Artworks which will help you think about what you are looking at more deeply trying to make you notice the details you might otherwise overlook on your own.


Tourists get the opportunity to be guided out of their comfort zone, receive a positive experience that is defined by their interests, and feel the healing power of Art in a more memorable, relaxed, and fun way.


One will have an opportunity to interact with curators, gallerists, and locals and might meet Artists while experiencing the electrifying economic movement and the lifestyle of Johannesburg north.


Other things to note; Prepare for show stopping sculpture collections, photographic exhibitions, and contemporary African fine Art exhibitions featuring African Artists curated by Africans, and, of course, in Africa. Clients are encouraged to purchase preferably after the experience.

On arrival

We meet at 21 Keyes avenue, the Keyes Art Mile precinct in Rosebank, to visit Joburg's oldest commercial Art gallery the Everard Read, and walk across the street to visit its sister gallery the Circa.

Hop-On to explore the Trumpet building and, the only black-owned gallery within the BKHZ precinct. Hop-On into a taxi to Joburg's Art strip on Jan Smuts avenue to visit the David Krut Gallery, Gallery2, the Blue House, Kim Sacks gallery, and the famous Goodman Gallery, and the tour ends with a meal or drinks at one of the hidden joints at the Secret Courtyards, Parkwood or restaurants in Rosebank, mostly to reflect on the entire experience before hopping-off to our meeting point for departure, alternatively, depart from the venue.
