The final day includes a gentle trek through the valley and back towards Imlil, giving you more opportunities to immerse yourself in the natural beauty and cultural richness of the region. This moderate trek is perfect for nature lovers and those seeking an authentic mountain experience in Morocco.

How to Find Us:
Your trek begins in the village of Imlil, located about 1.5 to 2 hours’ drive from Marrakech. We recommend arranging private transport or a shared taxi from Marrakech (we can assist with this upon request).
Once in Imlil, our guide will meet you at the center of the village near the parking area or Café Atlas, a common landmark. We will also provide exact GPS coordinates and can arrange a pickup from your accommodation in Marrakech or nearby if needed.
Please ensure you arrive in Imlil by 9:30 AM on the first day to begin the trek. Our team will be holding a sign with your name for easy identification.
Things to note
1. Fitness Level: This trek involves moderate to challenging hiking, with some steep ascents and descents. A reasonable level of fitness is required.
2. Weather: The weather can change rapidly in the mountains, especially in higher altitudes. It’s important to bring layered clothing, including a warm jacket, rain gear, and sturdy hiking boots.
3. Packing Essentials: Bring sunscreen, a hat, a refillable water bottle, and a camera for the stunning views. A small daypack for essentials is recommended.
4. Accommodation: We stay in traditional Berber guesthouses, offering basic but comfortable facilities. Expect a warm welcome and home-cooked meals.
5. Meals: Local meals will be provided during the trek. Vegetarian or other dietary restrictions can be accommodated with prior notice.
6. Guide and Support: An experienced English-speaking guide will accompany the group throughout the trek. Muleteers will carry the main luggage and camping gear.
7. Cash: It’s advisable to bring sufficient cash for any personal expenses, as there are limited ATMs along the route.
8. Altitude: The trek reaches altitudes over 2,400 meters, so if you’re sensitive to altitude, take it easy on the first day and stay hydrated.
9. Group Size: This trek is typically suited for small groups, ensuring a more personalized and intimate experience.
