Our Guides
On arrival
The cathedral is located in the heart of the Old Quarter and is very easy to find on Google Maps. Look for the large Gothic-style church with two bell towers.
Your guide will be waiting near the main entrance. If you cannot find the group, please send me a WhatsApp message or call me directly. Please arrive 5–10 minutes before the tour starts.
Things to note
• This is a walking food tour, so please wear comfortable shoes.
• Bring a bottle of water, especially during the summer months.
• Please let me know in advance if you have any food allergies, dietary restrictions, or follow a vegetarian/halal diet.
• We will visit local family-run restaurants and hidden food spots in Hanoi's Old Quarter.
• Food and drinks are not included. Please expect to spend around $6-10 per person.
• The tour will take place rain or shine, so bringing a small umbrella is recommended.

How can the tour be free?
Our concept is simple — there is no set price. Instead, you tip your guide at the end of the tour whatever amount feels right to you. Typically, guests give between $10 to €50, depending on their satisfaction and budget.
Most guides accept cash or card payments, or you can do it via our app.
Cancellation policy
You are free to cancel a booking anytime. We kindly remind you to cancel bookings you cannot arrive for. Being reported as absent decreases your customer level points and the benefits you can enjoy.
