Overview
Join two young Vietnamese locals for a relaxed walk through the heart of Hanoi. We’ll start around Hoan Kiem Lake, then explore the Old Quarter through busy streets, quieter alleys, local food spots and everyday places most visitors walk past.
Along the way, we’ll share stories about Hanoi’s history, local culture and what daily life is really like here. You can ask us anything about Vietnam, from food and traditions to student life and modern Hanoi.
We’ll also introduce you to some local street food and drinks. Trying food is optional, and you only pay for what you choose.
This tour is not meant to feel like a lecture. Think of it more like exploring Hanoi with local friends who want to show you the city from a local point of view.

Our Guides
On arrival
Meet me in front of Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre, 57B Dinh Tien Hoang Street, next to Hoan Kiem Lake. Please arrive 10 minutes before the tour starts. I will be waiting near the main entrance and will contact you through the booking details if needed.
Things to note
Please wear comfortable shoes and bring water, especially on hot days. Food, drinks and entrance tickets are optional and are not included. If the group would like to try local food or visit an attraction during the tour, guests can pay for their own purchases. The route may be slightly adjusted depending on weather, opening hours and the group’s interests.
