Overview
Beyond the famous Old Quarter lies a side of Hanoi rarely seen by travelers. Join George and Sofia, local history enthusiasts, for an intimate walking tour through the city's best-kept secrets. While the French and Old Quarters define the city's skyline, we take you into the heart of authentic neighborhoods where history and daily life intertwine.
Our journey begins at a lesser-known part of West Lake, where you can hear a sad history behind the ruin. We then walked to the Botanical Garden to see the greenest space of Hanoi and a local temple there. And be ready to navigate from a small alley to a communal house as the goal, and see the nestled quarter of the city.
A highlight of the tour is a stop at a small but meaningful lake to witness the historic B-52 bomber wreckage—a poignant relic of the Vietnam War that has still there for more than 50 years. At the end of the tour, you will see the final resting place of Vietnam's greatest hero, Ho Chi Minh, to learn more about Vietnam now and then.
Join us on foot for a social, deep-dive experience into the soul of Hanoi. Experience the city’s vibrant energy and historical depth like a true local.
