Hanoi Through Three Iconic Landmarks
Overview
- Tran Quoc Pagoda: You’ll learn about the history of Hanoi’s oldest pagoda, the origins and development of Buddhism in Vietnam, as well as the country’s main religious traditions and beliefs.
- Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum: You’ll learn about Ho Chi Minh’s life, philosophy, and legacy, as well as his role in the struggle for independence and the founding of modern Vietnam. You’ll also delve into the French colonial period, the wars against France and the United States, the country’s reunification, and the living conditions of the Vietnamese people during the war years.
- Temple of Literature: You’ll explore Vietnam’s first university, the Confucian tradition, the imperial examination system, the value of education in Vietnamese society, and the importance of the culture of learning that still characterizes the country today.

On arrival
We'll be waiting for you in front of the entrance to the Tran Quoc Pagoda, near the benches. We'll be wearing yellow hats so you can easily recognize us.

1. After you book the tour, we’ll contact you via WhatsApp to confirm the time and send you the location of the meeting point. We therefore ask that you make your reservation using your WhatsApp number. Thank you very much.
2. Additional fees:
- Temple of Literature: Admission is approximately 2 euros per person.
- Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum: Admission is approximately 1 euro per person.
- The order of the tour will be as follows: Tran Quoc Pagoda, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, and Temple of Literature. We’ll take a taxi from Tran Quoc Pagoda to the Mausoleum, and then walk from the Mausoleum to the Temple of Literature. The cost of the taxi varies depending on the time of day, but on average it is less than 1 euro per person.

You are free to cancel a booking anytime. We kindly remind you to cancel bookings you cannot arrive for. Being reported as absent decreases your customer level points and the benefits you can enjoy.
