Together, we’ll explore food stalls, taste traditional dishes, and I’ll share stories, history, and tips about our rich culinary culture.
Your lunch is included and features a delicious traditional Guatemalan meal. Some of the dishes you might try include:
- Pepián, a rich, spiced stew made with chicken or beef.
- Hilachas, tender shredded beef in a tomato-based sauce.
- Kak’ik, a traditional turkey soup with Mayan origins.
- Jocon, chicken simmered in a green sauce of tomatillos and cilantro.
- Chiles Rellenos, stuffed peppers filled with meat and vegetables.
To complete your meal, a refreshing fresco (a local fruit drink) is also included.
