Tlaquepaque: An Artistic and Colorful Expression
Overview
This walking tour starts in downtown Guadalajara, from where we will travel by public transportation to the heart of Tlaquepaque. Upon arrival, we will visit El Parián, recognized as the largest cantina in the country and a symbol of tequila, mariachis and celebration. We will walk through the streets of the town as we explore its colonial past and its profound relationship with sculpture and pottery. The tour includes a visit to several galleries, ranging from sacred art to contemporary Mexican art proposals, reflecting the local creative spirit.
The experience concludes in a workshop of traditional sweets, where you can refresh yourself and taste some typical specialties of the region. A tour to experience the art, music and flavors that define Tlaquepaque.
It is recommended to bring $10 MXN in coins for a short ride on public transportation.

When you arrive at Hostal Hospedarte Centro, ring the bell and enter the building. Your guide will be waiting for you at the front desk.

During the tour you will take a subway ride of approximately 15 minutes to get to the city of Tlaquepaque. It is necessary to have cash to pay the transportation ticket (10.00 MXN).
