Tlaquepaque: A Colorful Artistic Expression
Overview
This walking tour begins in downtown Guadalajara, from where we’ll take public transportation to the heart of Tlaquepaque. Upon arrival, we’ll visit El Parián, recognized as the country’s largest cantina and a symbol of tequila, mariachis, and celebration. We’ll walk through the town’s streets while exploring its colonial past and its deep connection to sculpture and pottery. The tour includes visits to various galleries, featuring everything from sacred art to contemporary Mexican art, reflecting the local creative spirit.
The experience concludes at a traditional sweets workshop, where you can cool off and sample some of the region’s typical specialties. A tour to experience the art, music, and flavors that define Tlaquepaque.

When you arrive at Hostal Hospedarte Centro, ring the doorbell and enter the building. Your guide will be waiting for you at the front desk.
